LUMINA is the stage name of vocalist and songwriter Hana Park, a Los Angeles-based artist whose R&B-rooted sound has earned her a reputation as one of the most distinctive voices of her generation. Her debut EP, 'Window,' was named one of the best records of 2020 by The Fader, NPR Music and Pitchfork.
Park's writing draws on the emotional clarity of classic soul and the structural experimentation of contemporary R&B, with each project built around a single sonic or thematic idea. Her second album, 'Sundial,' was recorded in a single five-day session in a converted church in Echo Park.
Off stage, LUMINA is an outspoken advocate for independent artists and has been a vocal presence in the conversation around streaming economics, artist rights and the future of the recorded music industry.
