The New Generation formed in 2021 as a seven-member collective with one mandate: to bring live vocal performance back to the center of the K-pop conversation. Their debut sold out three nights at the Gocheok Sky Dome in under nine minutes.
What sets the group apart is a stage show that prioritizes musicianship over spectacle — every member plays an instrument on tour, and the in-ear mix is recorded live and released as a separate live-album series.
Now three years into their career, The New Generation have released two studio albums, two world tours and a documentary that premiered at the Busan International Film Festival in 2024.
